A film by Pam Falkenberg, Jack Cochran
An experimental music video, based on William Carlos Williams’ poem, “The Fool’s Song,” now in the public domain, gains new life when performed and sung by musician Patty Larkin, and then developed into an experimental music video by Outlier Moving Pictures (Pam Falkenberg & Jack Cochran). It was Patty’s idea to use Williams’ powerful words to explore the refugee crisis on the southern U.S. border. We are honored to have worked with the poem and Patty’s song based on it, which we turned into a powerful experimental music video about the ongoing humanitarian crisis, now expanded to mass deportations.
